1. Data Collection and Storage

TaskVerified is designed to be a private, offline-first application. All data you create within the app is stored exclusively on your device.

• Local Storage: All job information, including client names, addresses, descriptions, notes, photos, and signatures, is stored in a local database on your device.
• No Cloud Sync: This data is never uploaded to, or synchronized with, any external server or cloud service. Your job data does not leave your device.
• Photos and Files: Photos you take and PDFs you generate are stored in your device's local storage. They are only shared when you explicitly choose to do so using standard Android sharing features.

2. Your Rights and Data Control

You have full control over your data. Because all job data is stored locally on your device, you can access, edit, and delete it at any time through the app's standard functions. The PDF generation feature serves as a way for you to export and save your data. You also have the right to delete your account and all associated data.

3. Firebase Authentication

TaskVerified uses Firebase Authentication for one specific purpose: to allow multiple users to securely use the app on a single device.

• Authentication Only: We use this service only for user authentication (creating an account, signing in, and signing out).
• No Data Association: Your Firebase account is only used to separate your local data from other users on the same device. None of your job data, photos, or other personal information is ever associated with or uploaded to your Firebase account.

4. Logging and Diagnostics

We are committed to protecting your privacy while maintaining a high-quality app.

• Debug Builds: When using a debug version of the app, we may write detailed logs to a private file on your device to help with development and debugging. These logs are never automatically uploaded.
• Release Builds: In the official version of the app available to the public, local file logging is completely disabled.
• Crash Reports: If the app crashes, an anonymized crash report may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics. This report contains information about the crash itself (e.g., device type, OS version, and stack trace) but does not include any of your personal data or job information.

5. In-App Web Browsing

Certain features of the app, such as viewing this Privacy Policy, may display content from our website (taskverified.anmoon.org) within an in-app browser. When you view this web content, the website may collect data as described in its own online privacy policy, such as your IP address and browsing activity, through cookies and other standard web technologies. The app itself does not track or store this browsing activity.

6. Permissions

TaskVerified requests the following permissions to enable its features:

• Internet: Required for creating and managing your user account with Firebase Authentication and for displaying web content.
• Camera: To allow you to take photos for your job reports.
• Location: To allow you to optionally add the job's location to your reports. Location data is only accessed when you use this feature.

7. Third-Party Services

This app uses services from Google Firebase to provide core functionality. By using our app, you also agree to the policies of these services.

• Firebase Authentication: Used for user account management.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Used for anonymized crash reporting.
